Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born in New York City, New York, on 2nd July 1986 . Lindsay Dee Lohan is an American actress and pop music singer. Lohan started in show business as a child fashion model for magazine ads and television commercials. Lindsay Lohan's string of success has tiled her as a bankable star in Hollywood. She now commands $7.5 million per picture which places her among the elite.
Her mother is Dina Lohan, a former Radio City "Rockette" and Wall Street Analyst. She currently helps manage her daughter's career. Her father is Michael Lohan, a long-time Wall Street trader who developed his family's multi-million-dollar pasta business, then sold it to pursue funding and development of major studios and independent Hollywood projects. Her younger brother is actor Michael Lohan and she has two other siblings: Aliana and Dakota.Aliana is an aspiring model and actress and brother Dakota (Cody) has modeled fashions.
Lindsay Lohan began her professional career at the ripe old age of 3 with a contract from the Ford Modeling Agency. and also made appearances in over sixty television commercials, including spots for The Gap, Jello, Pizza Hut, and Wendy's. With these successful credentials Lindsay was on the map. At age ten, she began her acting career in a soap opera; at eleven, she made her motion picture debut by playing both twins in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. She was to work with debuting director Nancy Meyers on the film which is an adaptation of the novel by Erich Kastner. The Parent Trap was a fairly good commercial success, however Lindsay earned some critical acclaim.
Lindsay Lohan’s first major break when she was cast in the role of Ali Fowler on the NBC TV show Another World during late 1996 and 1997. Lindsay was the third actress to play the role. Shortly after, she signed a three-movie contract with Walt Disney Pictures, and was subsequently cast as the estranged twin sisters Hallie Parker and Annie James in the remake of The Parent Trap(1961). Despite being her first feature film, The Parent Trap (1998) was a huge success, earning Lohan a Young Artist award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film, as well as Blockbuster Entertainment and YoungStar award nominations.
